What is Reservation timing of Indian Railways ticket through IRCTC.


IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation) is the official online platform for booking train tickets in India. When you make a reservation on IRCTC, you will be required to choose a specific time to complete the booking process.

The reservation timing of IRCTC can vary depending on the type of train you are booking, as well as the time of day and availability of tickets. Generally, the booking timing for IRCTC starts at 00:20 hours and runs until 23:45 hours every day. However, this can vary depending on the type of train and the date of travel.

Its important to note that booking for Tatkal tickets, which are emergency tickets that can be booked one day in advance, have different booking timings. 

For AC Tatkal bookings, the reservation timing is from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM for the tickets for the next day.
For Non-AC Tatkal bookings, the reservation timing is from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM for the tickets for the next day.

In general, it's best to check the IRCTC website for the specific reservation timings for the type of train you want to book and the date of travel you are interested in.
