1. UN/GEN – Unreserved/General Tickets.
2. CNF (CONFIRM) - Confirm i.e. you have a confirmed booking and will be given a seat
number soon.
3. RAC (Reservation Against Cancellation)
– In RAC Ticket one birth share two different passengers.
4. WL (Waiting List)-Passengers are not travel train through this Waiting List tickets.
5. GNWL (General Waiting List)- It is the most common type of waiting list tickets. This ticket is booked from the Source /Origin station. It has high chances priority to be confirmed.
6. TQWL (Tatkal Waiting Ticket)- If
passengers have tatkal and have awaiting list.
7. PQWL (Pooled Quota Waiting List) – It is a very common type of waiting list ticket. This ticket is allowed to those people whose journey from origin to the intermediate station or one intermediate station to the other intermediate station.
8. RQWL (Request Quota Waiting List) –If
passengers booked from an intermediate station to another intermediate station
and it is not covered by the General Quota or by the remote location Quota or
Pooled Quota, the request for the ticket may go into a Request waiting list.
9. RLWL (Remote Location Waiting List) – This is issued for those passengers who reserve their ticket in between from source to destination at any principal halt. These type of ticket will confirmed at this condition, only when any type of booking from source to destination station is being cancelled. It has a very low chances priority to be confirmed.
10. CAN (Cancelled) – It tells that railway
has assigned a PNR number to a ticket, but the ticket is marked for
cancellation.
11. NOSB (No Seat Birth) – It means this type of tickets are allotted No seat/berth with half charges. There is no chances to be confirmed.
